U.S. Trade Representative (USTR)

The Office of the United States Trade Representative (U.S.TR) was established by the Trade Expansion Act of 1962 as the Office of the Special Trade Representative (STR). It is a United States agency responsible for developing and fostering U.S. trade negotiations both bilaterally and multilaterally while promoting and coordinating trade policy.
