From January to November 2022, the import quantity of coil winding machines in China was 300 units, with an import value of 110 million USD; the import quantity of unnamed metal processing machinery was 10,000 units, which was 700 units higher than the coil winding machines, with an import value of 650 million USD, which was 540 million USD higher than that of coil winding machines
From the perspective of import and export unit prices, the average import unit price of China’s metal processing machinery is much higher than the export unit price. Jiangsu, Guangdong, and Zhejiang provinces are major exporters of metal processing machinery in China. From January to November 2022, Jiangsu Province ranked first in the country in terms of the export value of metal processing machinery, with an export value of 107.886 million USD, while Guangdong Province ranked second with an export value of 104.499 million USD. These two provinces are the main exporters of metal processing machinery in China.
In terms of import value, Japan is the largest importing country of metal processing machinery to China. From January to November 2022, China imported metal processing machinery worth 261.773 million USD from Japan, accounting for 34% of the total import value; China imported metal processing machinery worth 130.843 million USD from Germany, accounting for 17% of the total import value.
