A Master Air Waybill (MAWB) is a transport document used in air shipments, issued and signed by the air cargo carrier or its agent. A Master Air Waybill is issued by a carrier to a freight forwarder upon receipt of a shipment to be delivered to a named location as agreed in the shipping terms.
