Fuel Surcharge (FSC) Fee is charged by the trucking company in case of an increase in fuel prices. The fee is to protect the companies in case of fluctuating fuel prices. FSC is also seen in air or ocean transport. In the case of truck transportation, the fee is charged as a ratio of the base cost, and in the case of air freight, FSC is levied by the chargeable rate.
