A customs entry, also referred to as a customs declaration is a formal declaration which is provided by a licensed customs broker to a local customs authority for import and export movement of goods. The customs entry statement contains in-depth information regarding the imported goods. Typically, for importers, who work with a customs broker, this one will fill out the form on the behalf of the importer.
